  Lots of items available for those needing the best equipment to enjoy the outdoors. Prices were reasonably priced, similar to big city prices. We rented 2 types of kayaks from them. Good selection from the pictures in their portfolio. Had a bit of a glitch in the drop off place. They rectified it immediately.

  I'm from Halifax, with little in the way of canoe/camp equipment. So my son and I signed up for the deluxe package, which covered lake reservations, trip planning, equipment (top notch) and food (an almost embarrassing amount, though my fault because I checked the heavy eater category on the drop-down meal planner). KO mapped out a 5 1/2 day canoe/camp route in the park, and it went beautifully. The people there were very, very helpful. Prices for individual items may be "sky high" (as one reviewer noted), but given the isolation of Killarney (i.e. how long it takes to get things there) I'm not overly surprised. Besides, I suspect that most people who show up at Killarney already have most/all of the equipment/food they need, and are (perhaps) only looking for canoes -- so to complain about the cost of last minute purchase items is probably a little unfair. But for someone like me the package deal was more than worth it, and was beautifully executed. One other thing: the first two nights the food included home-cooked meals -- chili one night, and spaghetti (sauce with meatballs) the other. They were both fantastic. Whoever the cook was, they knew what they were doing.

  Great store for any camping related emergencies or needs while staying in the park. They also have snacks, icecream, andfreshly brewed coffee.
